DCX GOODYEAR 1 – DATA CENTER RULES

These rules apply to all Customers, Vendors, Contractors, Guests, and Invitees at the DCX Goodyear 1 Data Center. The rules ensure safety, security, compliance, and operational excellence. These Data Center Rules are incorporated by reference into the Master Services Agreement (MSA), Section 1.38, and all violations are the basis for removal of Customers, Vendors, Contractors, Guests, and Invitees from the Data Center.

1. GENERAL CONDUCT

  • All personnel must check in and check out with DCX Site Operations.

  • Access is strictly prohibited without prior scheduling and approval.

  • Behavior must be professional and respectful at all times.

  • The DCX Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) governs all activity. View the AUP

2. IDENTIFICATION & ACCESS

  • A valid government-issued photo ID must be presented upon entry.

  • Only individuals with pre-approved access credentials may enter customer equipment areas.

  • Badge sharing is prohibited and subject to access revocation.

3. SECURITY & ESCORTING

  • Visitors, vendors, or guests must be escorted at all times by the sponsoring party or a DCX employee unless approved for unescorted access.

  • DCX may deny access to any individual at its sole discretion for operational or security reasons.

4. EQUIPMENT & MATERIALS

  • No equipment may be installed, removed, or modified without a recorded ticket and approval from DCX Operations.

  • Customer is responsible for inventory control of their assets.

5. POWER & COOLING

  • Power circuits must not be overloaded. Any modifications must be approved and performed by DCX.

  • Customers must comply with rack power limits, cooling zones, and any operational guidance to preserve SLA compliance.

6. CABLING & NETWORK

  • Cabling must follow structured routing provided by DCX.

  • No wireless access points or unauthorized network taps are allowed.

  • Cross-connects must be provisioned by DCX.

7. CLEANLINESS & SAFETY

  • No food, drink, tobacco, or vaping inside the white space.

  • All trash must be disposed of in proper bins; packaging materials must be removed after installation.

  • Emergency exits must be kept clear at all times.

8. OUTAGE RESPONSE & INCIDENT MANAGEMENT

  • All Service Level Failure reports must be submitted through the Slack or 24×7 support line.

  • Customers must not attempt to self-recover power or cooling..

9. MAINTENANCE & MOP/SOP FOR VENDORS

  • All work must be performed under an approved Method of Procedure (MOP) submitted to and approved by DCX Operations.

  • All MOPs must:

    • Clearly define scope, personnel, schedule, and rollback plans.

    • Include a designated Responsible Person on-site.

    • Be reviewed and approved before work begins.

  • Vendors performing recurring work must follow DCX’s SOP requirements and complete an on-site safety briefing annually.

10. SLA REFERENCE

These rules support the DCX Service Level Agreement (SLA) and ensure compliance with its guarantees. For detailed SLA metrics, visit your customer portal or contact Site Operations.

11. VIOLATIONS

  • Violations may result in:

    • Immediate loss of access

    • Financial penalties

    • Termination of services

    • Referral to law enforcement (if applicable)

12. POLICY UPDATES

DCX reserves the right to update these rules. Customers, vendors, and guests will be notified via portal updates.. Continued access constitutes agreement to the most recent version.   The most current version of the rules can be found at:  www.dcx.us/rules
